The innova thunderbird in champion ...
Jun 2, 2023
The innova thunderbird in champion plastic is my go to straight fairway/control driver, I carry 3 in each of my bags one beat, one getting beat, and a new one to cover all my shots. It is dependable in the wind get a slight turn and can get this disc out to 350-400’ regularly. 1010 disc has the best customer service and are always quick on getting my orders out
A wind disc for me and more now
Nov 15, 2020
The course I play the most is very open and often windy. I e-mailed Jason about a couple discs that might fly better for me in the wind. He recommended a Thunderbird and a Verdict. I don’t think I had quite enough arm speed when I received the disc. I’ve played a lot this year and have gotten better, gained some arm speed. Today was very windy with wind gusts as well. I decided to give this disc a try. I kept it down, put a little anhyzer on it and went where I aimed it. You could see it fighting the wind as it flew toward the hole. I am able to throw this as far as my other drivers. I made some good shots with it. I’ll be throwing this disc more now. My disc is a yellow/copper Champion plastic, 175 g, it shows up nicely on the fairway,
