Axiom says this about the Proxy: "The Proxy shares the Envy mold's core, lending the same low-profile feel and solid grip, along with a short wing-width and wide flight plate diameter for superior glide. The Proxy sets itself apart from the Envy with a remarkably straight forward-fading finish. A bit of high-speed turn potential allows the Proxy's lines to be manipulated over a broad range of power, and helps less powerful throwers achieve straight putter drives."

Helpfulness
Straight tee throws, does fade predictably.

Got it in neutron for straight throws off the tee, doesn't disappoint. Note that you need some arm in order to make it go only straight and not fade. Not the best for a low right drifting tee shot that you don't want to come back. If you want more understable, go for electron. Rim is very comfortable, the inner rim wall is perpendicular to the flight plate without any curve, it does have a very small bead.

I tried the proxy because I wanted a throwing putter that wasn't as over stable as the envy. I got the proxy in eclipse plastic which I think made it a little more stable compared to other proxys. But it is still a dead straight shooter, I can full power it and it fly's dead straight for about 280-300ft with a reliable slow fade.
