Axiom says this about the Crave: "The Crave provides controllable straight flights with a great feel and loads of dual-color style. Relative to MVP drivers, the Crave is like a seasoned Servo. The popular "worn workhorse-stable" vibe is achieved with subtle wing contours that also feel great in the hand. The stability, range of weights, and easy throw make the Crave a GYRO™ rig staple."
The Axiom Crave has built a reputation as one of the best fairway drivers on the market. Its neutral stability makes it a favorite of both advanced and recreational players alike. Whether you are trying to pipe a tight line through the woods or manipulate angles to hit your preferred flight path, the workhorse Crave is a good option. With its 6.5 speed rating, the Crave fits between a midrange and fairway driver, offering additional distance without compromising control. Axiom makes the Crave in various plastics and weights to fine-tune your preferences.
Highly recommend Crave or Bokeh for fairway drivers. Crave can make more versatile shots like slight hyzer flip once beat in. They can make straight shots with more power. Honestly I think they will be pretty close for beginners like me. I keep both in the bag, but using Crave if I want to get around trees in the wood.
I make one start off for the durability of the over mold. I don’t know if it’s because the proton disc (I don’t have other plastic). My craves (I have three protons in different weights) are easily to chip than my neutron Bokeh when they hit trees.
Fun to throw. Versatile Fairway, that doesnt cease to amaze me. You can throw it softer and it will still hold the lines. Great starter disc for my son who doesn't have the higher arm speed yet.
Love this disk for forehand shots. Still not beat in so a little more stable than my Fission Crave on backhand shots but overall very smooth and a great looking disc.
