Helpfulness
The Rive is a rocket ...
Mar 11, 2026
The Rive is a rocket of a disc. The flight numbers might profile in the range of molds like a Discraft Nuke or Discmania PD2, but it is significantly more of a straight shooter with late and reliable fade. For comparison to you, the reader, I send my 12/5/-1/2 distance driver about 350 feet at my absolute best at the time of this writing. I find that the Rive goes just over 300 for me and is quite straight for a majority of that flight before finishing reliably. There is no early flight turn. The Rive has a rim that is not too wide, and is easily flexed on forehand for long distance shots.

OK, so my arm speed is not quite good enough for this disc....yet. But HOLY COW! this thing goes far! I use this primarily on a flex forehand or on crazy windy days when I know I need stability. And this thing just flies! Highly recommend you throw one if you haven't yet! Last thing, The plastic! The Royal Grand Plastic is the best plastic on the planet. Do with this info what you will
