Flight Metrics
Speed
The velocity required to reach a disc's optimal flight path. Range: 1 to 15.
Glide
The measure of lift generated by a disc to stay aloft. Range: 1 to 7.
Turn
The velocity, relative to the speed of the disc, required to cause the disc to turn with the direction of spin. Range: +1 to -5.
Fade
The low-velocity stability that causes a disc to hook at the end of its flight. Range: 0 to 5.
My favorite disc among all molds and types of discs. In C-Line the MD3 beats into being a point and shoot disc that does not get bothered by the wind, and finishes with the slightest hookup of a fade if thrown flat. It's best feature is holding whatever angle I throw it on. Put on a slight anhyzer, it will carry that gentle turn all the way to the ground. Put on a slight hyzer, again it holds that angle with a gentle fade to the ground. To compare it to other discs, think of it as a longer putter with a very forgiving flight that anybody can use so long as they get their nose angle right.
I purchased a used 9.5 out of 10 C line plastic MD3 And it came brand new. 12 out of 10 in my opinion, not a mark on it. I was really pleased with how transparent 1010 discs was with their used section. The MD3 in C line didn’t let me down. It flies almost the exact same as the SLine I purchased with a slight turn and straight to slightly stable fade. Excellent disc that made me purchase more disc mania MD series discs!
Great midrange that will hold a line. I purchased mine in the c-line plastic which I feel gives the perfect amount of grip. If you give it a little bit of anhyzer it will hold that line and carry for a long time. I don't have the greatest arm speed I can throw about 400-420 and if I give this disc a full send flat it will turn slowly to the right and finish left. A really good disc that can be used in multiple ways.
