Discraft Terminator
Main Features
Discraft says this about the Terminator: "The Terminator is a high-speed, overstable driver designed to handle torque, wind, and aggressive angles. The Terminator delivers a forward-pushing flight that stays on line before ending with a reliable finish.
For players with lower arm speeds, the Terminator shines as a dependable utility disc for forehands, skips, sharp fade, and situations where overstability is the difference between holding the intended line and losing control."
Discraft fans have been searching for a true Innova Destroyer clone for years. While several molds have filled similar slots, nothing has quite matched the legendary Destroyer.
The Elite Team, however, is loving the new Terminator—has Discraft finally designed a mold that meets the gold standard?
Engineered with dome pre-built into the mold and a torque-resistant profile, Discraft pushed the limits by taking a page out of Discmania’s book and shifting more mass into the nose of the wing, thereby increasing its gyroscopic stability and providing a forward-penetrating fade.
To compare the flights, Jordan tested the new Terminator and a Star Destroyer on a 420-foot hole. The Terminator flipped to flat from a small hyzer release and pushed straight down the fairway before finishing with a nice pushing fade. This particular Star Destroyer was more understable than the Terminator, requiring more hyzer angle in order to hold the hyzer line toward the basket.

Phases of Flight
Low-Speed Fade
---
As the disc slows and spin decreases, the disc pulls out of turn and begins to hook at the end of flight
High-Speed Turn
The aerodynamic profile turns the disc with the direction of spin during the high-speed phase of flight
