Discraft says this about the Buzzz: “More players agree: Buzzz™ is the best golf disc you can buy, period. It's an ultra-dependable, straight-flying midrange that you'll reach for again and again. Throw it hard, and the versatile Buzzz™ will hold any line you put it on. Discraft's 30-year reputation for consistency means that if you lose it, just pull out a new one, and you're back in business.”
The Discraft Buzzz has not just earned a reputation but a legacy as one of the best-selling and most popular discs in disc golf. Its consistent performance and wide range of applications make it a go-to disc for golfers of all experience levels. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or a new player just starting out, the Discraft Buzzz is a trusted companion on the course, definitely worth trying!
- Reliable flight: With Discraft's stability rating of 0.5, the Buzzz maintains a little bit of stability for consistency in any wind while maintaining its straight flight.
- Versatility: The Buzzz can hold any line—hyzer, straight, and anhyzer. Experienced players can manipulate the release angle and nose angle for hyzer flips, turnovers, and even flex shots.
- Low-profile design: Its low-profile design offers a comfortable grip for both backhand and forehand throws.
- Plastic variety: Discraft produces the Buzzz in various plastics, each with subtle variations in flight characteristics, durability, flexibility, and grip. The Elite Z plastic offers the most overstable flight, while the ESP plastic tends to season quicker, making it less stable.
Expert Reviews
Brian Earhart, Team Discraft—The Buzzz is the perfect midrange. Super angle neutral when thrown correctly, a player with good spin/angle control can expect to throw a Buzzz with VERY little flipping or fading. Hit it flat, it holds flat. Throw it with hyzer, it holds it the whole way. If your angle control is dialed in, throwing a buzzz feels like cheating.
Corey Ellis, Team Discraft—Buzzz. Very straight-flying disc. Point and shoot from 300 to 400ft. Will hold whatever angle you put it on. Everyone should have one in their bag.
