Helpfulness
Utility overstable nine speed
Feb 10, 2024
The Captain's Raptor has all the beef in the nine speed slot that you'll ever need.
I have thrown an ESP Captain's Raptor, but my most recent experience is with the Jawbreaker Z FLX '24 run. Both runs are very overstable, great for spike hyzers, chopped over forehand flexes, skip shots, thumbers, flick rollers - essentially all utility overstable uses for the beefy fairway.
Plastic:
The Jawbreaker Z Flx plastic is stunningly beautiful, the jawbreaker effect in a translucent plastic is amazing. The plastic is comfortable in hand, if not quite as gummy and flexible as some runs of Z FLX. Don't be scared off by the flexibility if you prefer stiffer plastics.
I get why everyone wants one of these.

I get why everyone wants one of these. So you can tell quite a bit from looking at the rim of a disc, but this one seems to deceive me. It is very overstable, but it doesn't exactly have the flat top like my ESP Raptor or my Halo Glow Firebird does. It's just touch more rounded on the top but i don't think that will stop me from throwing forehands or backhands with it. If you play in a windy area, i have no doubt you will be reaching to this disc more than you expect.
