D-Line Flex 2
Discmania says this about the P2X: "The P2X is a straight to slightly overstable putter co-designed with Gannon Buhr. The P2X is a great all-around putter for your approach game and putting as its dependable straight flight ensures it's the one disc you'll reach for over and over again in various situations. When the pressure is on, and the title is on the line, this is the disc you reach for to get the job done."
Gannon Buhr, Team Discmania—“The recipe for the perfect putter for my needs was found through multiple rounds of prototypes and re-tools. I'm glad I got to be very involved in the design process—that helped us achieve the type of putter that fits my game perfectly. The P2X is the best putter I've ever used, and I guess it's fair to say that the results are starting to show.”
For fans who have followed Gannon Buhr since his early days as a rising star on Team Prodigy, you know that the PA3 played an essential role in his success on the course. Known for sinking putts from anywhere on the green—inside or outside the circle—the PA3's unique profile, featuring a blunt nose with a bead, instilled confidence that allowed Buhr to strike the heart of the chains consistently.
However, at the time of his move, Gannon Buhr was confronted with a challenge: Discmania didn't offer... a putter in their lineup that mirrored the PA3's unique blend of characteristics—its straight flight, comfortable feel, and dependable stability. He settled upon the Discmania Link, a popular beaded putter, but he struggled to keep the Link from drifting off his intended line and gliding past the basket. He needed a more overstable putter. Of course, Gannon Buhr quickly adapted and became quite successful with the Link.
Late in the 2024 DGPT season, Gannon made the switch to the P2X, a putter he helped design to meet his exact needs. The results spoke for themselves: he dominated the final stretch of the season, winning five of his last six events.
The P2X features a slightly larger diameter and a more pronounced bead compared to the PA3, with a less blunt profile, providing a little more glide. While the P2X is not an exact clone of the PA3, it shares the same cherished flight characteristics and trusted feel in the hand, making it a natural fit for Gannon's game.
