Innova says this about the Charger: "Designing a high-speed driver that is stable and torque resistant, but has minimal fade is no easy feat. Innova Co-founder and Disc Designer, Dave Dunipace, nailed it with this one. The Charger is a straight-finishing, 13-speed driver that can be thrown at full power without worrying about the disc flipping over. The Charger fills a gap between the Destroyer and the Shryke. For players looking for the consistency of the Destroyer with less fade, try the Charger. For those looking for the big distance of the Shryke, but in a disc that can better handle the wind, try the Charger. Nate Sexton says that the disc has a “nice balance of gentle flip and fade.” With all the positive feedback we’ve received from our Team members, we can tell that the Charger is going to become one of our most popular molds."
Flight Metrics
Speed
The velocity required to reach a disc's optimal flight path. Range: 1 to 15.
Glide
The measure of lift generated by a disc to stay aloft. Range: 1 to 7.
Turn
The velocity, relative to the speed of the disc, required to cause the disc to turn with the direction of spin. Range: +1 to -5.
Fade
The low-velocity stability that causes a disc to hook at the end of its flight. Range: 0 to 5.
Great Disc. previous reviewer that stated it was like a beat in destroy your fresh out of the box and nailed it. It’s a little less stable than a halo destroyer … Thrown hard and flat it will turn a little bit. Always goes farther than my destroyers. Softer fade at the end. My Max distance is 400 feet. Clean driver lines 350. Throwing destroyers and wraiths and a thrasher and a force, this Disc consistently goes farther than the rest when I get a touch of turn out of it and release it knows down
