Elevation Disc Golf says this about the Groundhog: "The Groundhog emerges as a super unique approach disc, designed to get to the ground unlike any other disc on the market. Designed with an extra-thick center of the flight plate, the Groundhog has what we like to call "anti-gyro," meaning about 2/3 of the way through the flight, it just wants to fall to the ground. Therefore, we were able to achieve a slow and low glide flight while still making a disc that is not overly tall or uncomfortable in the hand."
