Discraft says this about the Heat: "The 2014 Ace Race disc is now the Heat! Bring some Heat when you want the best distance potential from a new or developing player."
Flight Metrics
Speed
The velocity required to reach a disc's optimal flight path. Range: 1 to 15.
Glide
The measure of lift generated by a disc to stay aloft. Range: 1 to 7.
Turn
The velocity, relative to the speed of the disc, required to cause the disc to turn with the direction of spin. Range: +1 to -5.
Fade
The low-velocity stability that causes a disc to hook at the end of its flight. Range: 0 to 5.
This is my first driver and I recommend everyone to start disc golf with it. It remains my favorite to this day, a workhorse for all occasions, I take it when the throws are not going and the good game returns :)
I got the heat in Z Glo Flx, so I don’t have a ton of knowledge on stock run Heats. However, the one I got feels amazing in the hand. Super smooth, relatively shallow, and it is accurate to the numbers. With enough hyzer, it can turn into a good bomber disc for those who don’t throw fast enough for 12 speeds. Very cool disc overall, a must have for discraft lovers.
The heat is a great disc. The esp plastic has held up well and I really enjoy how it throws. With just a little bit of hyzer it flies almost straight. A great addition to the bag..
good driver for someone ready to step up from the Diamond

i got this to compliment my challenger SS--this seems to b more domey but has good glide--faster arms will probably turn it over if crank on it.To me fly very similar to Challenger SS.
I was given this disc by a friend. It was one of my first drivers and I will probably always bag it. I don't always see the -3 in its flight, but it has a very pronounced turn. It is one of my primary accuracy drivers and a wonderful roller. I advise you to check this disc out, and I'm sure you won't regret it.
