The 1-star review of this is ridiculous. That "cheap" feeling is because carbon fiber is light. It is also expensive. This genius tool uses several tubes that are tapered in width and slightly smaller than the last. When you fully extend this thing it's much stiffer than the metal ones and bend and break after a few uses. This is 3x more expensive but should last 5x longer. Also if it doesn't, you can order individual components and fix it. The suction cup it the best grabber. The only con is when reaching straight up to get a disc in a tree it does take some effort to get it to not collapse on you. You just have to pull each segment tight into the next one. This is one of the coolest things I own.

Not worth the money at all. Feels cheap and like its 3D printed not made from carbon fiber. Brand new and already part of the pole is stuck after extending the pole to full length and wont go back in.

Used my Max Stick cf20 for the first time today; it worked perfectly to get a disc out of water for both my wife and me. Based on my limited use I'd buy it again. While not cheap, you get what you pay for... 1010 Discs service is tremendous!
