The Defy can be described as a straight flying high-speed driver that has a reliable overstable finish. For high power throwers, the Defy will exhibit a long straight flight with a dependable fade. Lower power throwers will find the Defy to be a useful overstable distance driver for headwinds and utility shots. The Defy is often described as a more stable MVP Photon.
The defining characteristic of the Defy is its ability to handle power without flipping over, while still providing significant glide and distance. It cuts through the air with a sharp rim and maintains its line well before fading out. This makes it an excellent choice for forehand drives and controlled backhand distance shots where accuracy is paramount.
