Gateway says this about the Odyssey: "The Odyssey is an over-molded disc that is a result of years of meticulous research and development. A product of trial, error, and relentless refinement. Through the careful manipulation of weight distribution between the rim and flight plate, enabled by dual-material technology, we've achieved a new level of control and flight precision. This journey began in 2005 when we partnered with Steve Pearson and Quest Technology, releasing the Odyssey Overmolded series.
This disc is a slightly understable fairway driver and it is an integral part of the greater story unfolding."
