Select Your Disc

Dynamic Discs says this about the Sergeant: "The Sergeant is an excellent hybrid-style distance driver - like a faster Getaway or a slower Raider. It’s perfect for those shots that a fairway just won’t reach but you don’t want to power down on a distance driver. The Sergeant forms a bridge between fairway drivers and distance drivers with a comfortable rim for both backhands and forehands and enough stability to work out of a turn, but not so much that it will always dive left at the finish. Pick up a Sergeant and experience full command of your drives!"

Flight Metrics

Speed The velocity required to reach a disc's optimal flight path. Range: 1 to 15.	Glide The measure of lift generated by a disc to stay aloft. Range: 1 to 7.	Turn The velocity, relative to the speed of the disc, required to cause the disc to turn with the direction of spin. Range: +1 to -5.	Fade The low-velocity stability that causes a disc to hook at the end of its flight. Range: 0 to 5.

Phases of Flight

Low-Speed Fade
As the disc slows and spin decreases, the disc pulls out of turn and begins to hook at the end of flight
High-Speed Turn
The aerodynamic profile turns the disc with the direction of spin during the high-speed phase of flight
Forward Push
The initial thrust forward during the high-speed phase of flight
