Doomsday Discs says this about the Land Mine: "The Land Mine got a lot of attention when it was released due to its uncanny can-lid appearance. It was primarily designed for approaches which holds both forehand and backhand lines very well before it suddenly drops to the ground, braked by wind resistance beating against its extremely blunt profile. It has the rare quality to stop flying before overshooting death putts. The Land Mine will stand out when you pull it out of your bag, inspiring unpredictable comments from your card mates. Because of its size and rim thickness, it is only available in firm, base putter plastic."
