Kastaplast says this about the Kaxe Z: "Just as with the original Kaxe we have called it a midrange driver, but it’s just as much a fairway driver. A multi-purpose disc. The Kaxe Z can handle a decent amount of speed and wind, but will also perform better than the typical driver when powered-down. With this disc we’re introducing the Z as in Zero, symbolizing less stability than the original mold."

Helpfulness
.Bought the Kaxe Z because I love it.
May 7, 2024
Bought this Kaxe Z because the Kaxe Z will no longer be manufactured, and I wanted a backup. Love these discs. Just played a tournament using only my two Kaxe Z's, and threw -1. Good for me. They turn, go straight, fade, and putt great. 1010 has become my source because of their CS and communication. I recommend the Kaxe Z and 1010.
K1 Kaxe Z 173g

1010discs.com killed it on the order processing and shipping. I got my disc in about 2.5 days after I placed my order (way before they promised it).
K1 plastic from Kastaplast is simply the best plastic I have ever put in my hand. It is silky and grippy and I have thrown this disc directly into trees and I cannot see a mark on it. The Kaxe Z has been very consistent for me, I throw this disc just short of 300ft. It will hold whatever line I put on it. It has become my slightly more stable version of my Champion Leopard3. I already rely on this disc as a midrange/ fairway driver that I can navigate the wooded coursed I love to play.
