The Discraft Kratos, codesigned by Paul McBeth, was engineered to offer a little more stability than the Luna and feature a beaded rim for comfort and control.
Discraft says this about the Paul McBeth Kratos: "Engineered for both putt and approach, the Kratos is the power-up you've been waiting for to elevate your game. The Kratos has a lot of similarities to the Luna but has a beaded rim."
Building on the popular Luna mold, the Kratos incorporates a bead for a comfortable grip and increased stability for better control. This disc excels in windy conditions, holding its line on turnover shots and gentle hyzer approaches.
The prototype release, molded in a special Rubber Blend plastic, delivers exceptional grip with a firm feel. Its flight pattern parallels the Luna but with the added benefit of enhanced stability.
The Kratos is versatile, functioning effectively as both a throwing putter and a dependable putting disc. This release marks the first shallow beaded putter within the Discraft lineup.

Flight Metrics
Speed
The velocity required to reach a disc's optimal flight path. Range: 1 to 15.
Glide
The measure of lift generated by a disc to stay aloft. Range: 1 to 7.
Turn
The velocity, relative to the speed of the disc, required to cause the disc to turn with the direction of spin. Range: +1 to -5.
Fade
The low-velocity stability that causes a disc to hook at the end of its flight. Range: 0 to 5.
I get why Discraft made this disc. It certainly has a similar feel to the Luna, but it has a bead on the bottom and is certainly more stable. I find that it complements the Luna well as i typically use the Luna for straight to turnover shots and i use the Kratos for Straight to fade. It can be thrown pretty hard and has great glide. I love the special blend plastic as it just wants to grab the ground when used for approach shots. The special blend plastic is also pretty grippy and not as firm as other Discraft plastics. If you are looking for the stability that the Luna should have had when you found it was more understable than the flight numbers show, this is the disc for you. I get why Discraft made this disc.
